Where does Rotorua Duck Tours depart from?
Rotorua Duck Tours departs from the Rotorua I-Site at 1167 Fenton St Rotorua.
Is there parking close by?
There is metered parking in the immediate vicinity. Parking costs are $1 per hour. You will need $2 to last the duration of the trip. Free parking is also available in the Government Gardens which is a five minute walk away.
What time should we show up?
Please show up 15mins prior our regular departure times.
Can payment be made on the duck?
Payment can be made on the duck. We accept credit/eftpos and cash onboard the duck.
What do I need to bring?
Please dress to the conditions. From April onwards it can get quite cold on the duck. We do have blankets onboard the duck that can be used for warmth. Please also bring a camera.
How long should you allow for a tour with Rotorua Duck Tours?
Please allow 2 hours for our Rotorua City & Lakes Tour (90mins) and 2 1/2 hours for our Tarawera & Lakes Tour.
Do I have to book a tour with Rotorua Duck Tours?
To secure a reservation it is advisable to book ahead. Reservations can be made by phoning Rotorua Duck Tours on 073456522. Payment for the tour can then be done on the duck.
Can we bring food on a Rotorua Duck Tour?
Drinks are allowed on the duck and snack food for children.
Is there any age restrictions?
The duck is suitable for all ages from very young to very old. Infants even though they may be sitting on a parents lap are actually assigned a seat on the duck.
Do Rotorua Duck Tours cater for Wheel Chair access?
Rotorua Duck Tours does not cater for wheel chair access. However we have assisted people on that have been wheel chair bound. As long as they do not mind being assisted we can assist most people onboard the duck. Wheel chairs are left at the Rotorua I-Site in secure storage.
